The Lord is a very early, all-purpose potato variety. It is suitable for cultivation in a greenhouse and the traditional field growing. Its extremely large, round-oval tubers contain light yellow flesh. The skin is yellow with shallow eyes, so there is not much waste when peeling. The yielding potential of the variety is very high, plants grow quickly and at a stable, even rate. Their vegetation period is only 89 days. Consumers rate Lord potato as very tasty. Tubers of this variety are perfect for salads, casseroles, soups, boiling, and steaming. The relatively low starch content defines Lord potatoes as type AB, salad potato for general use. Their flesh remains firm and slightly moist when boiled. Lord is valued for its storability, it can be stored long without losing its taste. In addition, the variety stands out with high resistance to diseases and pests.

The Lord seed potatoes offered here do not have any special requirements in terms of soil and moisture. Their exceptionally strong root system allows to survive periodic drought or summer heat. Potatoes belong to vegetables suitable for growing in a light and very light, aerated, and highly permeable soil. It brings abundant yield in a well-sunlit place. Growing potatoes requires watering when needed, feeding with appropriate fertilizers, and performing of some protection measures. The date of planting depends on the temperature of the soil measured at a depth of about 10 centimetres. Follow the rule of thumb and put seed potatoes at a depth equal to their diameter adding one to two centimetres. Grow potatoes in rows every 60 to 70 centimetres apart in 20 to 30-centimetre spacings between individual plants.
