Spinach 'Greta F1' is a late heterotic, female-type cultivar. It develops large rosettes of dark green, fleshy, thick leaves. Plants take on a slightly erect habit and are subtly wrinkled. 'Greta F1' spinach guarantees rich yield at all development stages, produces excellent young leaves and winters well. The variety presented in our store maintains consumer value for a long time and is resistant to producing flowering stalks. It does not fall to mildew.
Spinach (Spinacia oleracea) is a vigorous and productive plant that also provides exceptional nutritional value. It is an inexhaustible source of B vitamins, vitamin C, beta-carotene and minerals, particularly iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iodine and zinc. Its leaves may be eaten cooked, steamed, stir-fried and in smoothies. Young leaves perfectly complement salads.
'Greta F1' spinach seeds should be sown from spring to autumn. The minimal germination temperature is 2-3ºC and young leaves appear already 4-7 days afterwards. The soil at the spinach growing site needs to be fertile, humous, sufficiently moist and the site itself sunny or partially shady.
Packages available in our store contain 10 g of the 'Greta F1' spinach seeds.
