The Spring Sunshine daffodil (Narcissus) is a charming dwarf variety that belongs to the Tazetta group. This early and persistently flowering daffodil produces relatively small, yet shapely and elegant flowers and grows up twenty to thirty centimetres (eight to twelve inches) tall. Flowers consist of elongated, slender cups take on a warm sunny yellow colour and are surrounded by narrow, long petals, picturesquely bent back. Lemon yellow petals turn paler, almost creamy white with time.

The Spring Sunshine daffodil blooms early in April. It looks fantastic on a spring flower bed as a subdue counterpoint to brightly coloured, early red and yellow tulips. Combining it with hyacinths, crocuses, fritillaries, or other dwarf narcissus, such as Baby Moon, Canaliculatus, Minnow, or Martinette that are also available in our store. It makes a great impression on a border of a flower bed or in a group in a sunny corner of the lawn. Dwarf, small-flowered narcissi are undemanding, resistant to frost, wind, and rain, and easy-to-grow. They will bloom profusely in any garden soil of average quality. They prefer permeable soils, as well as bright and sunny positions.
