The Tomelloso F1 is a hybrid variety that produces block-shaped fruit. Those large, regularly shaped and sized peppers with three to four seed chambers grow on thick stems that have short internodes. Large leaves effectively cover dark red, 250 to 300 gram fruit, from sunburn. Thanks to a strong root system, this variety can be successfully grown in less favourable conditions. Reliable fruit production in lesser soil belongs to the main advantages of the presented variety. The Tomelloso F1 peppers do not break nor fall to rust and store well. This sweet, delicious variety tastes good raw, steamed, roasted, and pickled. High content of vitamins and minerals within the red flesh of this pepper supports your body's wellbeing. This is one of few vegetables that keeps its nutritional value after cooking.

You can grow the Tomelloso F1 pepper in the open field and in a greenhouse. Plant pepper seedlings in 50 by 40 centimetres spacings. The harvest time depends on the actual planting time. This variety belongs to early ones and produces fruit between August and October. Fertile, slightly acidic soils, with high humus content provide peppers with the best conditions for development and growth. The site should also be sunny, sheltered from winds, and possibly secured from temperature swings. Pepper as a species requires plenty of water, particularly during the flowering and fruit development stage.

Seeds of professional varieties constitute a premium quality product. They must meet the highest requirements and are therefore subject to strict, frequent checks.
