The High Tea tree lily (Lilium OT) proudly presents its huge flowers during the most beautiful summer months. It belongs to the tallest representative of its species, as it can reach up to 200 cm. Its strong, thick, stiff stems branch in the higher parts and each of them is crowned with a cup shaped, open, slender white flower, whose petals are coloured orange-yellow at the bases inside. The extremely ornamental, stunning High Tea lily that dazzles with its size and elegant flowers, looks best in a grouping of 3 to 5 plants. It can adorn a lawn in front of the house in smaller gardens, while we recommend to combine it with the erect orienpet lilies at the background of a border in larger gardens.

The cultivation of this frost resistant perennial can start in spring or autumn. Choose a sunny site with a weeded, deeply cultivated, light yet hums-rich soil. The lilies feel best with their heads in the sun and feet in the shade, what means that the soil should be cool and protected with a layer of mulch from drying in the summer.
