The White Planet trumpet lily (Lilium) is a charming variety that is perfect for growing in the centre of a colourful border or a larger grouping next to your relaxation spot. Its immaculate white flowers with sunny yellow calyxes take on a shape of an elongated trumpet. Thanks to their broadly open petals you can clearly see the decorative darker stamens. One plant of this lily produces more than one flower, the whole marvellous bouquet develops atop a tall, erect stem (about 120 cm) that is covered with verticils of narrow leaves.
The bulbs of the presented perennial plant that blooms in the second half of summer, should be planted in spring or autumn. The soil should be moist, yet light and permeable too, preferably loosened with compost. The trumpet lily, similarly to its cousins, prefers to have "the head in the sun and feet in the shade" - in contrary to the popular belief it is quite easy to achieve such conditions. You only need to mulch the ground around the plants with bark, cover it with gravel or plant lower growing annual plants, such as violet, edging lobelia and the wax begonia.
Each package contains 10 pcs of the White Planet trumpet lily bulbs sized 18 to 20 cm in circumference. The essential plant growing information is printed on each package.
