Tulip "Denmark" (Tulipa) belongs to the "Triumph" tulips that adorn garden borders when the spring is full spring. These medium tall plants grow 40 - 50 cm tall on average. Blooms develop end of April and at the beginning of May. The "Denmark" variety develops bicolour, vividly coloured flowers consisting of red petals with yellow edges. This attractive variety with single blooms is ideal for perennial borders and spring compositions. It is commonly grown for cut flowers, as it stays fresh in vases for a long time.

Tulips grow and bloom best planted on a sunny site, although light shade does them no harm.
