The Jumbo Pink is a classic elegant Triumph tulip. Its huge pink flowers are supported by sturdy stiff stems that are surrounded by silvery green leaves. The densely packed petals that interlock slightly spread in the sunlight to form broad cups. The up to 50 centimetres tall tulips can become a charming decoration of every garden. Similar to other varieties of the Triumph group, Jumbo Pink is a large flower that is resistant to unstable weather, including rainfall and strong wind. This majestic tulip is the perfect choice for the garden, large boxes and bowls, while the stiff erect stems of this variety make it a wonderful cut flower. Elegant bouquets consisting of pink silky flowers are simply invaluable when it comes to introducing a spring vibe to a room. 

Tulips prefer sunny situation or only partial shade. It is worth planning and setting up a tulip flower bed at a frequently visited place. We recommend planting those magnificent flowers next to driveways, a path leading to the house, or in a large planter at the front door.

Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn. September and October is the optimal time for this activity as the bulbs need time to take root before the winter. Choose light, sandy-clay, loosened soil for tulip cultures. Adding a dab of premium quality soil or compost to the holes is highly recommended. Tulips are rather tolerant when it comes to the site selection. The only thing they do not like is excess moisture in the soil that often leads to diseases.

Plant them between eight and fifteen centimetres deep. Tulip, as species, tolerates gardener's lack of experience, small variations to the planting depth are acceptable. It is recommended to keep the bulbs ten to fifteen centimetres apart. If possible, tulips should be planted in groups of five to ten bulbs or even larger patches that can count up to several dozen of bulbs. It is recommended to dig out the bulbs at the end of June or beginning of July and plant them at some other site in autumn.
