The Rasta Parrot tulip will definitely appeal to all lovers of exotic flowers. This tall (up to 50 cm), marvellously colourful parrot tulip shines in the sun with various shades of yellow, orange and red, while the bases of its petals have green accents. The unusual combination of the warm, saturated colours is by far not the only one ornament of the variety that we offer here. The impressive petals have corrugated edges and a slightly wavy surface. These features add up to form a large, double flower that is circa 8 cm long.

The optimal time for planting tulips spreads over the whole autumn, you only need to complete the task before the first frost. Plant tulip bulbs 10 to 12 cm deep and 10 cm apart. The soil should be moist, yet permeable. A group of five Rasta Parrot tulips will introduce a touch of exotics into every garden setting. The variety offered here blooms end of April and at the beginning of May, but differs significantly from the other bulbous perennials that bloom in early spring. Thanks to its saturated colours and unique shape it will look incredible in combinations with the timeless single tulips that develop yellow, red, orange and white flowers. It harmonizes with the tall crown imperial, too. This is the ideal candidate for the background of a flower bed or an edge of a showcase lawn.

Each package contains 5 bulbs of the tulip Star of Parrots sized 11 to 12 cm. The most important plant growing tips were included in the package information.
