The Van Sion daffodil is a relatively aged, yet unique variety. Its star-shaped flowers consist of densely packed pointed petals and distinctly split, bright yellow corona. Heavy, double flowers often take on a greenish colour, especially in the first year. It makes them irresistibly charming and distinguishes from other varieties. Tufts of those relatively low, twenty-five to thirty-five centimetres (ten to fourteen inches) tall, plants constitute a wonderful decoration of the edgings, borders and paths. Arranging Van Sion daffodil in pots, baskets, and boxes, allows you to create wonderful decoration for resting places on a balcony, the entrance of ??the house, or a favourite partt of a rock garden. Combined with crocuses and tulips, presented daffodil forms intriguing arrangements that look stunning at a background of a group of shrubs. The radiantly yellow flowers of the Van Sion daffodil last long in a vase. An unpretentious bouquet of these flowers will perfectly decorate the interior of your home, adding a bright colour touch to it.

Daffodils are plants that do not require much care, while their decorative value remains high. Van Sion daffodil is a hardy plant that will quickly naturalize the area where other varieties may fail. Its low requirements come down to well-drained soil and a site in the sun or partial shade. Daffodil bulbs planted in the garden in September and October begin their vegetation in early spring. Their wonderful flowers appear in April and May. In order for those plants to repeat lush flowering every year, they must be fertilized and watered. Do not forget to remove fading flowers.

Each package contains five bulbs of the Van Sion daffodil. Basic plant facts and growing tips were printed on the package label.
