The Verdin daffodil belongs to the miniature group of the species. Those tiny, yet undeniably charming daffodils change colour during flowering. As the flowers mature, the cups become brighter, what gives them a wonderful, luminous appearance. The offered Verdin variety produces clusters of up to three flowers on one stem. This feature guarantees abundance of flowers in spring. The fifteen to twenty centimetres tall Verdin jonquil feels well on borders, flower beds, in rock gardens, and in pots. The charming appearance of these blooms, emphasized by their sweet scent, gives this tiny daffodil a unique character. Joyful, brightly coloured clumps of those plants will make every April in your garden a magical time.

Lush clumps of miniature daffodils fare best at sunny places. Give their bulbs a fertile, humous, moderately moist soil. Plant them five to eight centimetres deep and cover before the winter. Presented plant does not require excavation before the winter and can on average spend four to five years at the same site. Daffodils that are given time to accommodate to a site, bloom earlier and more profusely, as they waste no energy on taking root. Daffodils are rightly considered undemanding plants that are easy to grow, both in the garden and in planters on a balcony. As truly versatile plants, they can enrich many arrangements.

One package contains five bulbs of the Verdin. Look for the basic plant facts and growing instructions on the package label.
