The Wave daffodil (Narcissus) is a beautiful double variety. Growing up to forty centimetres (sixteen inches), slender and delicate in appearance, presented daffodil produces not-too-large, yet gracefully shaped flowers with white petals and elongated, yellow-white cups. And it is that very lush cup that is responsible for the high ornamental value of the presented variety. The cup consists of alternating yellow and white sepals with decoratively frizzled edges. Lovely, subtle flowers of the Wave daffodil gently bow to the side from erect stems, and the narrow, upright leaves that surround them additionally emphasize the compact, charming form of the plants.

Plant daffodil bulbs in autumn into fresh, light, not-too-compact soil. Similarly to its relatives, the variety available here belongs to undemanding perennials and feels great in average garden soils. It develops most beautiful at sunny and slightly shaded places. This medium-tall daffodil flowers at the turn of April and May and can be arranged at multi-species flower beds, borders, in perennial groups and on lawn edges. It thrives in company of other Narcissi, especially the small or split-cup varieties. We offer a wide selection of those in our store.
