We hereby offer SEED TAPES that are exceptionally easy to use. The optimal seed placement eliminates the ned to prick out seedlings as the young plants are instantly provided with optimal growth conditions. The tapes are made entirely of biodegradable, organic materials. They do not impair the quality of the vegetables or the soil in any way. They allow to use the space in the garden in the most efficient way and to reduce the amount of labour needed to grow and harvest.
The 'Agata' summer radish is a vegetable that can be harvested throughout the season - from spring to autumn, in greenhouses and in the open field. The conical, long root constitutes the edible part. Its white skin is smooth and covers a milky white flesh that is tender, firm, crunchy and pleasantly slightly spicy. The juicy root is an excellent source of nutrients, including B complex vitamins and niacin, as well as high doses of potassium and calcium. It is rich in dietary fibre. The large, wedge-shaped roots are up to 25 cm long when fully mature. They do not tend to get pithy or crack and are resistant to shooting inflorescence shoots. This radish tastes great raw as an addition to sandwiches or in salads served with dinner dishes. The roots retain their nutritional value for quite a long time.
The cultivation on sunny and partially shaded places, in well-structured, permeable and humus-rich soil brings the best results. Spread the seed tapes on the ground from April to August, while the early spring and late autumn dates are intended for greenhouse cultures. Keep the rows 15-20 cm apart. Watering is required in order for the plants to develop properly.
One package contains 6 metres of seed tape (with ca. 300 seeds). The basic growing instructions and the sow-by date can be found at the back of the package.
