The Winter Waltz daffodil is a Cyclamineus daffodil that differs from the traditional trumpet varieties. Its tepal are reflexed (bent backwards) and have a slender orange trumpet that is called a corolla. Colours of the flower change gradually as it matures. Bright and vivid at first, they pale with time and take on a subtle apricot pink colour. The undeniable charm of the presented variety is particularly worth exposing on edgings and flower beds, on lawns, and in pots. The Winter Waltz variety delights in rock gardens and on small sunny embankments too. This early flowering daffodil handles early spring cold well. Its flowers retain their decorative value for a long time. Spectacular and easy to grow narcissi have been valued spring flowers for years. This variety can become a real gem for every lover of these charming blooms. Narcissi produce the most beautiful flowers in the second and third year on the given site.

September and October is the daffodil planting time. Choose a sunny spot in the garden for them. This species values moist and permeable soil. Water the site abundantly during the season, preferably once a week. As soon as you notice shrinking of the flowers, it means that it is time to transplant them. Dig out the bulbs in summer after the leaves have dried out. Clean them and plant again in autumn at a new site. We recommend covering new plantings with a layer of mulch or dry leaves. Daffodil bulbs contain toxic substances called alkaloids. Due to their content, this species repels pests and rodents. You can use that property by planting daffodils together with other species of bulbous flowers. They will not only look great but also stay healthy in such a company.
