The World Expression tulip - planted in a group at the front of flower bed in spring - provides a proven method of creating a composition that combines timeless elegance with a touch of extravaganza. The variety offered in our store is a unique representative of late single tulips that still remain relatively unknown. The gorgeous, slender, and tall tulip produces a huge flower that takes on the classic tulip shape. Its satin petals take on a creamy-white colour. A cherry-red fleck spread from the base of each petal in irregular streaks up to the half of the flower. That strong contrast of warm white and saturated red guarantees an amazing visual effect. The up to fifty-five centimetres tall World Expression tulip is recommended for planting in rows, circles, and other regular formations, preferably in compact groups. Arrange those on borders and in middle parts of flower beds. As a late-season variety, this magnificent flower blooms at the end of the tulip season in May. It works great not only as a garden decoration, but also as a material for fresh spring bouquets.
Plant bulbs of the World Expression tulip rather densely, in twelve to fifteen centimetre spacings and in rows twelve to fifteen centimetres apart. Late autumn is the optimal tulip planting time. To let the plants fully expose their flowering potential and delight the eye with their distinctive colouring, choose a sunny or only a partially shaded position. The soil should be humous and not too compact, so that it dries quickly after the rain. In such conditions, the bulbs will winter healthily, allowing tulips that grow at the same position for several years to repeat their generous flowering in the coming years.
One package contains five bulbs of the World Expression tulip, sized 11/12 centimetres. Essential growing guidelines were printed on the package.
