Bean "Esterka" (Phaseolus vulgaris) belongs to early French bean varieties and produces delicious, stringless, green pods. You may harvest them already 70 - 75 days after the cultivation start. This variety is valued particularly for its high resistance to diseases. What is also important, it shows long shelf life and withstands periodical water shortages. "Esterka" develops quite large pods that reach 15 cm in length. Straight and smooth, green pods are devoid of strings. This feature convinces many consumers to purchase. French bean belongs to thermophilic plants and requires plenty of sunlight and high temperatures.
