Application and feeding period

BIO tomato fertiliser is intended for fertilising tomatoes and other vegetables such as cucumbers, pumpkins, courgettes, melons, peppers, aubergines or beans. The granule can be used both when planting and during plant growth by mixing it with the top layer of soil. Apply the fertiliser from March to July, and one application per season is enough to provide plants with nutrients for a long time.

Dosage

The recommended dose depends on the vegetable species and is, for example, about 170 g/m² for tomatoes, 160 g/m² for cucumbers and courgettes, 140 g/m² for melons, 100 g/m² for peppers and aubergines, and 80 g/m² for beans or broad beans. One open handful of fertiliser corresponds to approximately 40 g of granules.

Directions for use

Spread the granules evenly around the plants or mix them with the soil intended for new plantings. In the case of established plants, the fertiliser can also be placed in several holes made around the plant and covered with a layer of soil. After application, water the growing medium thoroughly to activate the release of nutrients.
