Black-Eyed Susan Vine is a glamorous annual vine that grows up to 180 centimetres in height, with magnificent trailing shoots. It produces beautiful orange flowers with a black centre, which, in the case of this family of plants, is called the ‘Black eye’. Black-Eyed Susan Vine has a high ornamental value and thanks to this, it is often grown as a wall or fence decoration from the south, and can be used as a decoration on balconies or in flower planters.
Growing: sow the seeds under cover from February to March. Plant out into a permanent position in May when the frosts are no longer. This variety flowers from August to October. The plants require sunny positions. Each gram contains around 20 to 30 seeds.
