The Blue Eyes hyacinth is an early flowering bulbous perennial with a beautiful, pastel-coloured flowers. Presented variety is quite new, but it is quickly gaining recognition among gardeners and florists. Pale blue bell-shaped flowers, gathered in twenty centimetres (eight inches) tall, erect, and conical clusters delight with their beauty and sweet scent for nearly three weeks in March and April. Magnificent Blue Eyes hyacinths dazzle with bright, fresh colours. As the flowers mature, lavender streaks become more visible on each of them, giving the variety a unique charm. Hyacinths are popular plants that you can find in home gardens and pots. Charming, fragrant, and versatile hyacinths provide material for the foreground of a flower bed or border, charming edging, a decoration on balcony or terrace, and small spring bouquets. They blend in wonderfully with groups of daffodils or tulips, and add a fresh touch to a rock garden. Due to their scent, hyacinths should be planted in frequently visited places. Their sweet aroma will remind us of the quickly approaching spring.

Large hyacinth bulbs must be planted in autumn. Sunny and semi-shaded places are suitable for their cultivation. This species prefers fertile, well-drained soil that is rich in humus. Proper, easy care allows you enjoy hyacinths for years. To bloom abundatly for a long time, hyacinths need mulching before the winter and fertilizing during the vegetation period. Excavation of bulbs before the winter is not necessary, yet recommended. Clean dug out bulbs and store them in a dry, ventilated place. The dormancy ends in autumn the same season and hyacinth bulbs are ready to be planted again.
