The White Pearl is a profusely flowering hyacinth variety. Its large, creamy-white inflorescences attract attention not only with their appearance, but with their scent too. Hyacinths that develop flowers on fleshy, strong stems belong to the most popular bulbous plants. The romantic, graceful hyacinths should grow at showcase and frequently visited places, both on borders and in pots. Various colours of hyacinth flowers allow you to create stunning compositions that will decorate your home and garden. Hyacinths have been lately become more popular as cut flower. Their rich, impressive inflorescences offer great material for bouquets and other floristic arrangements.
Offered variety, like other eastern hyacinths, does not have any special cultivation requirements. Sunny and semi-shaded places suit them equally well. Make sure that the soil is neither too compact nor waterlogging. A fertile, permeable, and continually, moderately moist soil offers best conditions for this species. Plant its bulbs ten to twenty centimetres deep and fifteen to twenty-five centimetres apart. Cover the site with dried leaves, conifer twigs, or de-acidified peat before the winter. Hyacinths belong to plants that winter in the ground, but it is recommended to dig the bulbs out in summer, dry them, and replant in the fall. This strengthens plants, allows them to bloom abundantly, and maintain excellent health.
One package contains three bulbs of the White Pearl hyacinth. Basic plant information and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
