Blue Pimpernel is a charming annual plant that grows up to 20 centimetres in height. Its shoots are partially raised upwards and partially hanging downwards. It is among its lovely diminutive leaves where the numerous slight blue flowers appear within the first four months of cultivation. Blue Pimpernel is an ideal plant for fairly small flower beds, as well as for containers and pots.
Growing: in order to obtain regular germination, place the seeds in a refrigerator for a week before the intended sowing date. Sow the seeds in pallet planters or directly into a permanent position in April. The seeds germinate in around 3 weeks. Grow the plants in 10x15cm spacings in a sunny position. This variety is very little demanding in terms of soil.
