The Blue Sea daylily (Hemerocallis) produces grassy leaves and subtle, almost ethereal flowers. It constitutes a tremendous, durable decoration of garden paths, driveways, borders, and woody corners. Presented long-lived perennial grows about 70 centimetres tall during the season and its tufts reach similar width. It takes on a dense, erect form. Funnel-shaped flowers that consist of three flat corolla petals and the same number of large sepals open from June to September on stalks surrounded by a cloud of narrow, lanceolate, bright green leaves. Petals of the Blue Sea variety take on a blue-purple colour and each flower is additionally adorned with a nice golden eye.
Plant daylily rhizomes on borders in spring or in autumn. Choose a site where the plants could grow for a long time to let them develop magnificently and produce more and more flowers every year. Offered perennials are not too demanding in regard to growing conditions. They feel well in an illuminated shade and expect a permeable, rather fertile, not too dry soil.
One package contains 10 rhizomes of the Blue Sea daylily. Essential growing instructions have been printed on each package.
