The Bright Jewel daffodil is a variety that deserves a place in your garden. Its large, golden flowers with orange cups perfectly correspond with the joyful spring time. Presented daffodil belongs to varieties that have been introduced to the market only recently. Decorative value and excellent health belong to the features of this plant. The wonderful Bright Jewel flowers appear at the tips of the leafless stems in April. Surrounded by greyish, lanceolate, narrow leaves, they look like glowing flames on the garden beds. This about thirty five to forty centimetres (fourteen to sixteen inches) tall plant harmonizes with grape hyacinths, pansies, and tulips. The long-lasting fruity-floral scent brings added value to this splendid garden gem. You will come to appreciate that feature even more when cutting flowers into a vase.

Plant daffodil bulbs in autumn into previously loosened, weeded, compost-enriched soil. Provide them with a fertile, permeable, and constantly slightly moist soil to achieve the most spectacular flowers. Add sand, fine bark, or peat to loosen heavy, too compact soil. Daffodil can grow at the same situation for several years, but it is recommended to transfer plants to a new site every three to four seasons. Otherwise, the bulbs could sink too deep in the ground and cease to appear in our garden in spring. Beautiful daffodils are rather resistant to frost, but in snowless, harsh winters, we recommend covering them.

Each package contains five bulbs of the Bright Jewel daffodil. Basic plant facts and growing tips were printed on the package label.
