The entrancingly scented 'Ice Follies' daffodil surprises with large light flowers. Its broadly spread petals are additionally adorned with an opening corollula with frizzled edges. It is lemon yellow when it opens. Its colour fades to creamy white as the flower matures. The flowers look stunning at the background of linear, striped green grey leaves. It perfectly fits into flower bed arrangements and spots around deciduous trees and bushes with not to dense treetops. This daffodil looks great planted alongside paths. It will also bring spectacular results when planted in larger groups on the lawn. Subtle colours of this variety harmonizes with other bulb flowers that bloom at the same time, in March and April. The variety presented here is perfectly suited for creating stylish bouquets. We recommend not to mix them in vases with other flowers. Daffodils belong to the most durable cut flowers among the early spring plants.

The 45 to 50 centimetres all 'Ice Follies' daffodils should be planted in autumn in order to let them take root before the winter. They prefer sunny and partially shady sites. Plant the bulbs 8 to 10 centimetres deep and 15 centimetres apart. The soil for narcissus cultivation should be soft, deeply cultivated and loose. Fertile, humous, moist, yet not water-logging soil guarantee the best possible conditions for growing narcissi. Enriching the site with organic fertilizers, e.g. compost, before planting and during the flower development stage, is highly recommended.

The price quoted above is valid for 5 bulbs of the 'Ice Follies' daffodil, sized 12/14 cm.
