Canada Goldenrod is a perennial variety that grows up to 120 centimetres in height. Its upright rigid stems produce pyramid-shaped raised inflorescences that consist of a multitude of slight yellow flowers. Relatively little demanding condition-wise, Canada Goldenrod is a hardy plant, which is resistant to frost and looks exceptionally beautiful in high flower beds, parks and gardens. It is often used as a cut flower in particular in dried bouquets.
Growing: sow the seeds in planter boxes or pots from April to May. This variety grows well in many types of soil; it prefers moist ones with clay. Avoid very productive soils, as this plant does not tolerate them. It prefers sunny or semi-shaded positions.
