The Canary Island Date Palm is a perennial plant that is intended for cultivation in light rooms. In the summer, The Canary Island Date Palm can be moved to a terrace or balcony, once the weather has become warmer. This slow growing variety produces fairly long leaves with abundant leaflets, while the flower stalks are lovely orange in colour and grow beautiful flowers. Both its orange and fruit are edible.

Growing: soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 2 days, then sow 2 centimetres deep in pots. Sustain an even soil moisture and the temperature at 25-30°C. The seeds germinate slowly in several weeks. Once the radicles appear, carefully cover the seeds and plant out into pots individually. Fertilise and water the plants on a regular basis, while providing them with a lot of scattered light. This variety needs to be transplanted once in every 2 to 3 years.

Each packet contains five seeds.
Each packet includes a growing guide and a sow-by date.
