The Striata canna lily is a large and showy plant. Its appearance immediately brings the tropics to mind. Decorative flowers and leaves of a canna lily attract attention regardless of whether the plant grows solitary or in a larger group. The variety we are pleased to present has no weaknesses. It is perfect, from the large, striped, yellow-green leaves, to the large, shiny orange flowers. Thanks to the bright colouring, the Striata canna lily is a garden wonder. At a height of 120 to 180 centimetres, it beautifully towers over other plants. The noble canna lily is a showcase plant, worth displaying on a border or as a flowering hedge. You can also grow canna in a pot or a box.

Prepare a sunny, wind-sheltered position for your canna lily. Then make sure that they grow in nutritious soil fertilized with compost or manure. Regular watering is must throughout the growing season, moderate before flowering, more abundant at the beginning of the flowering period. Every canna lily needs intensive fertilization at regular intervals. The use of liquid, multi-component plant for flowering plants is preferred.

You can enjoy canna lilies for many years, provided you store their rhizomes in a cool, dry room over winter. Dig them out of the ground after the first frost in autumn, clean, and let dry. Put in containers filled with peat or sawdust, and store until spring and repeated planting in garden and pots.

Each package contains one first-choice rhizome of the Striata canna lily. Look for basic plant facts and growing tips on the package label.
