The Carl stonecrop (Sedum spectabile) is a variety that displays classic stonecrop colours and is characterized by exceptionally long flowering period and seldom seen vigour. Its shots grow up to 50 centimetres tall. From August to October, they are crowned with broad, dense, spectacular umbels. Each of them consists of hundreds of star-shaped flowers that take on a charming, bright pink colour. Stonecrop is a melliferous plant that provides invaluable food for pollinating insects at a time when flowers become sparse. The foliage of this excellent perennial is also worth your attention. Fleshy, large, greyish green leaves are ovate and have ornamentally serrated edges.

The erect Carl stonecrop develops a compact, nice habit and shows exceptional flowering power. It is a valuable addition to an autumn border. It can also take the main role in a colourful rock garden arrangement. Planted in its centre or background it will reliably accompany flowers that do not bloom that long. Presented perennial is highly ornamental and tolerant: it handles frost, drought, and strong winds very well. It is not afraid of diseases. It looks lush and stunning both in a fertile, humous soil and in dry, lime, meagre ground. Stonecrops love the sun and that is why they should grow on open spaces where other species might feel too hot and too dry. Green-leaved Carl with its fuchsia pink flowers looks great on embankments, parapets, and sunny lawns - particularly accompanied by varieties with differently coloured leaves, such the Diamond Edge, José Aubergine, Rainbow Xenox, Summer Surprise, and Vera Jameson varieties of Sedum plants.

One package contains 10 pcs first choice seedlings. Essential growing instructions have been printed on each package.
