Carrot ‘Deep Purple’ is a medium-late variety that is suitable for storing over a relatively short period of time. This vegetable grows very unique deep purple roots that can be used for garnishing or as an addition to various dishes, as well as to produce natural color additives. The delicious Carrot ‘Deep Purple’ flesh is a lovely reddish-purple.

Growing: sow the seeds 1 to 2 centimetres deep into the soil in May. Thin the seedlings in 5-8cm spacings. Grow the roots in 30-40cm spacings. This variety prefers well-cultivated light soils. The roots are ready to be harvested from mid-September to October.
