The Conca d'Oro gladiolus is a tuberous plant with an erect habit. Its single, strong stem ends with an ear-shaped cluster of bright orange-yellow flowers. Large flowers that ensure that the plant stays attractive for a long time and the possibility to cut them into beautiful bouquets are the hard-to-beat gladioli assets. The Conca d'Oro gladiolus reaches an impressive height of 125 centimetres. Such a majestic plant is worth growing at a centre of a border or in a single species group under a fence. It looks great at the background of a house and improves the appearance of a terrace. Its phenomenal colour that some find exotic can add life to and illuminate perennial plantings whose sight we grew accustomed too. The Conca d'Oro gladioli that are full of sunny charm are recommended for cut flowers. A large bouquet of them brings most of the nice ambience of both classic and modern arranged rooms.

A sunny site that is also sheltered from wind is the optimal place for the successful development of gladioli. You can expect them to flower abundantly in fertile, humous, and moderately moist soil. They do not tolerate acidic soil; neutral reaction of the earth suits them best. Gladioli bulbs should be planted in spring. After the flowering period, in autumn, you should remove the corms from borders, clean them, let dry, and store in rooms protected from frost. They are ready to be planted outside again in spring.

One package contains 50 gladioli bulbs of the presented variety. These bulbs are sized 12/14 centimetres in circumference. The basic plant information and growing instructions can be found on the package label.
