A landscape rose is a plant valued for its impressive flowers and the possibility to use it in many ways. Presented rose produces magnificent, crimson red flowers. Its saturated colour looks great at the background of healthy, shining foliage. Flowers of landscape roses do not grow too big, but appear in large numbers. Gathered in charming clusters, they remain atop the stems for a long time, sometimes even until first frost. Landscape rose flowers take on a simple shape and that might be the simple charm of this plant. Several whorls of wavy petals surround the centre filled with yellow anthers. Flowers of landscape roses are resistant to unfavourable weather conditions. They do not lose any of their dazzling beauty after the rain or during summer heat.

Those crawling plants that create thick green carpets can thrive on embankments and slopes. You can quickly cover empty or less attractive spots in the garden with them. Vigorous and undemanding landscape roses wonderfully adorn small gardens, you can grow them in planters on a balcony or terrace. Roses of that group are often used in public spaces, at squares, in parks, and sometimes even on motorway medians.

Growing a group of landscape roses is easy. Those virtually maintenance-free plants prefer sunny sites, yet can also grow in partial shade. Prepare the soil in advance - cultivate and weed it, then enrich with compost. Taking care of landscape roses does not require much of your time. They must be fed with a fertilizer only one time during a season, if you grow them in a fertile soil. Water them abundantly every few days when rain is not expected. Cut down sick, damaged, and too densely growing shoots in spring. We recommend to mulch roses to optimize growing conditions.

Presented landscape rose seedling is sold in a bag that protects the roots from drying.
