The Barr's Purple crocus is an amethyst purple beauty. It belongs to the earliest signs of the coming spring. Patches of this cheerful crocus constitute an integral part of a garden that wakes up to life after the winter. The inner petals shine with a slightly lighter coating that contrasts wonderfully with the yellow-orange anthers. The flowers surrounded by the grass-like leaves that are adorned with creamy-white stripes are the spring freshness impersonated.

The unique lilac colour beautifully harmonizes with a romantic flower bed of the first spring bulb flowers. The 10 to 15 cm Barr's Purple crocuses provide a good solution for filling path edgings and flower bed corners. They are a great fit for the rock gardens too. The rapidly spreading croci constitute an ideal component of a flower bedding. They can also be used in various arrangements in planters that will adorn the surroundings of your home, a balcony or home interior. Crocuses can be successfully forced.

The crocuses should be grown on sunny sites. Partial shade will not hurt them, either. They will grow best in a permeable soil that is rich in nutrients and warms up quickly. They winter in the ground. Dig the bulbs out every few years.

One package contains 10 pieces of the Barr's Purple crocus bulbs. The basic plant information and growing tips can be found on the product label.
