The Conqueror crocus is a wonderful variety that develops exceptionally large flowers. The lavender-blue blooms with contrasting orange stamens brings colour to the garden at a rather unexpected time. The variety offered here is still relatively unknown, yet deserving your attention.

The Conqueror variety develops huge flowers. You will definitely notice their appearance. they start to bloom in October and continue for a month. This feature allows you to enjoy the beauty of the flowers at a time when all other blooms wilt or have already wilted. The pastel colour of the flowers and the decorative veining pleases the eye and looks great at the green background of the leaves that are similar to the foliage of other croci.

The small height of the plant suggests that it could be grown in rock gardens, alpine gardens and on edgings. Rows of the Conqueror crocus present high ornamental value along the paths. They also look good under the tree crowns as colourful carpets. The variety offered here is also an interesting proposal for the autumn decoration in pots, boxes and planters. This crocus will form tufts that will spread with each year, provided it grows on the same site for several years.

Bulbs of the Conqueror crocus should be planted between September and November. The recommended planting depth is 6 to 8 cm, while the spacings between the plants should measure 10 to 15 cm, depending on the desired visual effect. The soil should be permeable, humous and sufficiently moist.

One package contains 100 bulbs of the Conqueror crocus, sized 5 to 6 cm. The basic plant information and growing tips can be found on the product label.
