Lilac Beauty is a variety of the Tommasini crocus. It blooms early in the spring and develops plenty of slender blooms. We recommend to plant them in a groups of a few in order to let the plants inform you that the warmer time has finally come.
The silver-lilac cup-shaped blooms spread their petals while sunbathing. They grow, one per bulb, from the circa 5-cm long tube. A pistil and stamens that take on an orange colour protrude from the centre of the flower. The grass-like leaves offer a nice background for the flowers.
The unique light lilac colour perfectly fits onto a romantic flower bed filled with the earliest blooming spring bulbous flowers. The up to 10 cm tall croci of the Lilac Beauty variety provide great material for creation of colourful path edgings and lawn corners. They are a great fit for the rock gardens too. The rapidly spreading croci constitute an ideal component of a flower bedding. This variety proves to be useful for creation of planter compositions that allow you to adorn the surroundings of your house or its interior.
The crocuses should be grown on sunny sites. Partial shade will not hurt them, either. They will grow best in a permeable soil that is rich in nutrients and warms up quickly. They winter in the ground. Dig the bulbs out every few years.
One package contains 100 pieces of the Lilac Beauty crocus sized 5 to 6 cm in circumference. The basic plant information and growing tips can be found on the product label.
