Field cucumber "Borus F1" (Cucumis sativus) belongs to the most sought-after heterotic varieties of pickling cucumber that are resistant to the most common and popular gourd family diseases. The cultivar offered in our store is intended for field cultivation that should start with direct sow in the middle of spring. This plant bears regularly shaped fruit, both when it comes to size and shape. Its vividly green peels are covered with large, darker warts. Since the fruit form only small cores, they are the ideal material for pickling.
Seeds of the field cucumbers should be sown directly to permanent location, possibly when the spring is in full swing. The soil needs to be well cultivated, permeable, rich in humus and with a neutral reaction. "Borus F1" cucumber is totally resistant to cucumber scab and tolerates downy mildew well. Fruit of this variety are ready to be harvested from mid-July until end of September. Raw cucumbers are low-calorie and show deacidifying effect on the body.
