'Ice King' is a double daffodil variety that produces large, noble looking flowers. Its double creamy-white corollas with a hint of lemon yellow immediately attract attention. The impressive diameter of the blooms that might spread even 10 centimetres wide is a nature's masterpiece that you can admire in your garden. The presented variety belongs to the most popular ones, despite the time that has passed since its introduction. We recommend to plant it in groups on lawns and perennial flower beds. Apart from its role in the garden, the 'Ice King' daffodil is a valued cut flower. Bouquets of these marvellous flowers are durable, but please make sure to cut only the fully developed flowers. The variety usually grows up to 40 centimetres tall and blooms in April and May.

The magnificent narcissi should be planted on sunny sites. They tolerate partial shade. Due to the heavy flowers of this variety, the site should be sheltered from strong wind and heavy rainfall. Plant the bulbs 15 centimetres apart a depth equalling twice their height. The soil for narcissus cultivation should be soft, deeply cultivated and loose. Fertile, humous, moist, yet not water-logging soil guarantee the best possible conditions for growing narcissi. Enriching the site with organic fertilizers, e.g. compost, before planting and during the flower development stage, is highly recommended. The narcissi do not need to be excavated every year and can grow on the same site for several years before transplanting them elsewhere. You can excavate the bulbs at the end of July, though, dry and clean them and then store in a dark ventilated room until the planting in autumn.

The price quoted above is valid for 5 bulbs of the 'Ice King' daffodil.
