The Bluesette dahlia perfectly fits onto borders and plantings around the house or a gazebo thanks to its beautiful double pink flowers. Presented variety is characterized by producing numerous ornamental flowers and a bushy appearance. The medium height, ranging from 50 to 60 centimetres, allows to grow this magnificent plant not only on flower beds but in pots too. The long flowering period undoubtedly belongs to the advantages of the species. Dahlia produces flower buds since the end of June until as late as October. The lilac-rose flowers with lighter petal tips bring plenty of joy and add colour to the flower bed forefront, edge of a lawn, or an elegant bouquet.

We recommend choosing wind-sheltered situations with unrestricted access to sunlight for growing dahlia. Presented species thrives in a permeable, humous, light soil that is also rich in nutrients. Regular feeding and watering of the plants would be recommended in case of less fertile soils. Fertilization with compost and manure is recommended and brings excellent results. Dahlia is a perennial that should be excavated before the winter. After removing the excess soil off the rootstock it should be stored in a cool place in containers filled with peat or sawdust.
