Dahlia 'Burlesca' is a variety with regular, pompon flowers in an intense pink-orange colour. One of its greatest strengths is its intriguing colour variation - depending on the angle of the light, the flowers can take on a raspberry tone or a warmer, orange-tinged shade. The densely arranged petals form a very compact, even ball that stands out clearly against the dark green leaves. It is a practical, versatile plant that looks excellent in summer borders and, thanks to its long-lasting quality, is also superb as a cut flower for the vase.
Plant the tuber from April to May, once the risk of frost has passed.
The recommended planting depth is 5-7 cm.
Plant 50-60 cm apart.
This variety reaches 80-100 cm.
Flowers from July to October.
Dahlia 'Burlesca' is not frost-hardy, so the tubers should be lifted before winter and stored in a cool place.
It looks good in the middle and back of the border, especially when paired with varieties in cooler colours. In containers, it creates a bold, orderly effect, and in bouquets it keeps its freshness and shape for a long time.
Our tubers are carefully protected, and we also provide detailed growing instructions to help you achieve the best results.
