Dahlia Gallery Renoir (Dahlia) is a compact variety that may be used as a stunning decoration of pots and containers placed on a balcony or terrace. These plants take on a compact habit and grow 30 – 40 cm tall. They bloom abundantly producing round inflorescences in a beautiful pink colour. First flowers of this charming variety should develop already at the beginning of July. These plants retain their ornamental value until first frosts. The Gallery Renoir dahlia fits perfectly on edgings and lower borders.

Dahlia rootstocks are transplanted to the garden at the beginning of May. A sunny and wind–sheltered border would work best. This species prefers fertile, permeable, moderately moist soils that are rich in humus. We recommend enriching the soil with compost or mineral fertilizer before planting of the rhizomes. Dahlias have to be excavated before the winter. Cleaned and dried rhizomes should be stored in a room that is protected from frost.
