Dahlia Little Tiger is an excellent low-growing variety. This spectacular perennial with bicolour flowers decorates gardens in the second half of summer. Ornamental, brightly coloured Little Tiger dahlia blooms continuously for several months. Charming, red-and-white flowers look great on a flower bed in a garden, or a planter that you can put anywhere. Low-growing dahlias are worth growing along fences and paths. Presented, about 50-centimetres-tall dahlia is a versatile plant, suitable for growing in a home garden, at an allotment, and in pots on a balcony or terrace. Stunning dahlias with their double, bright flowers allow you to prolong the summer in the garden and in a planter.

Decorative blooms and versatility are the features that have earned dahlias a high position among garden flowers. Dahlia develops best at a sunny place that is also sheltered from the wind. It needs permeable, well-cultivated soil with a neutral pH. Dahlias cannot grow in very moist or too-heavy, compact, clay soil. Plant dahlia rhizomes from the end of April to the end of May. Put the rootstock in larger holes and cover them with soil so they are covered by about a five-centimetres-thick layer of soil. To accelerate flowering, plant dahlia in March in pots. In May, after hardening, transplant seedlings to the garden.
All those who plan to grow dahlias should be ready for regular watering and fertilization. Dahlia is sensitive to low temperatures. You have to dig up rhizomes after the first frost. Store dried and cleaned tuberous roots in a room protected from frost. Check the condition of the stored rootstock from time to time. Dispose of damaged and infected parts.

Each package contains one top-quality dahlia tuber of the Little Tiger variety. Basic plant facts can be found on the package label.
