Dahlia 'Omega' is a variety with double flowers in warm shades of apricot, orange and pink. Its long, slightly twisted petals give the blooms an interesting, slightly looser form, while the colours blend softly into one another. As it is quite a tall plant, it is best placed towards the back of a border, where it will create an excellent backdrop for lower perennials. It flowers for a long time and reliably, bringing a distinct splash of colour to the garden throughout the second half of summer and into autumn.
Plant the tuber in spring, from April to May.
The recommended planting depth is 5-7 cm.
Plant 50-60 cm apart.
This variety reaches a height of 90-100 cm.
Flowers from July to October.
The tuberous roots should be lifted before the first frosts and stored in a frost-free room.
Dahlia 'Omega' works well in group plantings and as a taller accent in mixed arrangements. Its warm colouring combines well with varieties in shades of purple, red and cream. The flowers are also suitable for cutting - they keep their freshness and vivid colour well in a vase.
