The Petra's Wedding dahlia is a phenomenal variety with elegant, spherical flowers. These elegant pompoms, tightly filled with outward bending petals, take on a creamy-white colour. Each plant produces large numbers of those relatively small flowers. Dahlia Petra's Wedding develops a bushy habit, reaching about 70 centimetres in height. Dahlias flower for a long time. The first buds appear in July, and the last flowers fade in November. A bright pompom dahlia is a good choice for any flowerbed or a larger planter arrangement. The about 8 centimetres wide pom-pom shaped flowers magnificently decorate a flower bed, a summer gazebo, or the entrance to the house. Dahlia Petra's Wedding is an excellent cut flower. Its colours, durability, and charming shape make it a great material for wedding bouquets.

Prepare the site carefully before planting dahlia rhizomes. Plough it thoroughly and fertilize with compost. To protect tall, yet often fragile stems, grow dahlias in a sheltered part of the garden. To bloom abundantly, plants need a lot of sunlight and well-drained, nutrient-rich, and moderately moist soil. Dahlias are sensitive to low temperatures. Right after the first frost in autumn, cut down the shoots at ground level, dig out carefully the rootstock. Let them dry a bit, remove excess soil, and put in baskets or boxes filled with sand, peat, or sawdust. Store dahlia rhizomes in a cool, dry room until planting in spring.

Each package contains one top-quality rhizome of a Petra's Wedding dahlia. Packaging label contains a quick growing guide and basic plant description.
