The Purple Haze dahlia has all the makings of a star of a flower bed or planter composition. It owes its undeniable charm to a saturated deep colour and intriguing, anemone-shaped flowers. Brown-Bordeaux-red foliage only adds to the charm of the plant. This magnificent variety additionally stands out with crimson flowers that reach 10 to 15 centimetres in diameter. Purple Haze is an elegant plant who introduces unique colours to the garden. Pots with this abundantly flowering dahlia constitute an inspiring decoration of a balcony or terrace, particularly at the end of the season when colours become sparse. Flowers of the Purple Haze dahlia are supported by the long reddish stems and are perfect for cutting. This variety of dahlia grows about 90 centimetres tall and flowers from July until late autumn.

Dahlia belongs to sun-loving plants but it can grow in partial shade too. Its tuberous roots will develop healthy and exuberantly in a permeable, moderately moist, compost-enriched soil. Feed and water dahlias all season long. Do not forget to top wilted flowers. Dahlia rootstock should be excavated in autumn and kept in indoors until the next planting in spring.

Each package contains 1 piece of first choice rootstock of the Purple Haze dahlia. Basic growing instructions and key plant facts were printed on the packaging label.
