This plant grows 70 to 90 centimetres tall. Its charming bicolour blooms that measure about 8 centimetres in diameter appear on top of the stems from July to October. Flat, slightly rounded petals of the Sunshine dahlia are yellow and have dark orange base.

To grow dahlias successfully, you need to find a sunny and sheltered site for them. This species looks great at the flower bed background and in the centre of a lawn, in a single-species or multi-species arrangement. Presented variety is a great cut flower too! This dahlia variety, just like its relatives, needs a permeable, rather moist, and nutrient-rich soil. It grows well and flowers abundantly in every average garden soil enriched with compost.
