The Dorothy crocus is a spectacular variety of the Crocus chrysanthus. It produces wonderful yellow flowers, whose energizing colour adds life to and adorns home gardens and naturalistic plantings in public spaces. The slightly smaller than usual Dorothy crocus flowers make up for their size with their number. A sea of gold created by dozens or hundreds of small flowers sparkles with brown accents of the outer petal patterns. Presented crocus variety stands out with its reliability, abundance of flowers, and hardiness. This is a perfect choice for a rock garden, edging, colourful spots among trees, and naturally looking flowery meadow on a lawn. The 10 to 12-centimetres tall crocus flowers in April and March.

Plant crocus in autumn, from mid- September to October, about 6 to 8-centimetres deep in a permeable, humous, slightly moist soil. We recommend to use plastic baskets that facilitate planting and protect bulbs from rodents. Crocus winters in the ground and can grow on the same spot for several years.

One package contains 10 bulbs of the yellow large-flowered crocus. Essential plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
