Daffodil "Ascot" (Narcissus) is a charming, tall variety that produces double, bicolour blooms that take on pastel shades of yellow and orange. The erect stems of this charming plant are surrounded by the linear leaves that form an attractive, dark green background for the flowers. The "Ascot" narcissus grows circa 40 cm tall and belongs to the earliest blooming perennials that decorate borders in spring. It looks stunning in compositions both with daffodils with split trumpets and the classic jonquils. You may also combine it with the early, low growing tulips, colourful crocus cultivars and netted irises.
You should expect numerous and large "Ascot" daffodil blooms on sunny and partially shady sites. Plant the bulbs late in summer and early in autumn. All types of humous garden soil, apart from the acidic ones suit this variety.
One package contains 50 bulbs of the 'Ascot' daffodil, sized 12/14 cm. The basic plant growing instructions have been printed on the package.
