The "Rococo Double" tulip is an unique variety that combines the shape of the parrot tulips with the double inflorescences. These tall plants grow 40 - 50 cm in height and are ideal for vases. Blooms develop when the spring is in full swing, usually end of April / beginning of May. "Rococo Double" quickly becomes a strong presence of every arrangements and its double inflorescences are packed with waved and ornamentally dentate, red petals with green patterns. This variety deserves an exposed place and preferably a solid green background.

Plant the "Rococo Double" bulbs in autumn. Choose a sunny or only partially shady site. The soil needs to be light, rich in nutrients and have an appropriate drainage layer. Plant the bulbs 10-12 cm deep and 10-15 cm apart. Proper fertilization of the plants guarantees abundant blooming and therefore we recommend to use a special fertilizer for bulbous plants that is available in our store or another multi-component fertilizer. This variety is frost resistant.
