Eko Derma (Koro-Derma) Garden Wound Dressing is a product intended to help protect trees and shrubs in areas exposed to damage. The product is used after grafting, pruning, or in the case of wounds caused by frost, abrasions or damage caused by animals. The dressing has the form of a thick substance which, after application, creates a durable and flexible protective layer resistant to weather conditions.

Application

Eko Derma is suitable for protecting wounds after grafting fruit and ornamental trees. The product also helps protect bark cracks that appear in winter and mechanical damage during garden care. It effectively separates exposed tissue from pathogens and fungi, which helps reduce the risk of infection. The dressing is also used wherever there is a need to reduce moisture loss from plant tissues.

Directions for use

Apply the product directly to the wound surface using a brush or spatula. The application should be even, so that the entire damaged surface is carefully covered with a thin layer of dressing. After drying, the product creates a flexible protective barrier that adheres well to the bark of the tree or shrub. Use in accordance with the manufacturer’s label.

Coverage

The pack contains 350 g of garden dressing. This amount is enough for repeated protection of wounds in a home orchard or allotment garden. Efficiency depends on the number of cuts and the size of the protected surfaces - for example, small wounds require only a small amount of product, while extensive cracks will use more of the product.

Composition and properties

Koro-Derma does not provide data on the mineral composition or parameters such as pH or EC, but its purpose is to create a mechanical and biological barrier. After drying, a coating resistant to rain, wind and temperature changes is formed. As a result, the plant heals the injury site faster and regains the natural structure of the bark.
