EXTRA long-lasting lawn fertiliser Osmocote - Substral - 15 kg is applied at the beginning of the growing season, when the turf starts to grow vigorously and needs a stable source of nutrients. The product is intended for fertilising domestic lawns as well as larger green areas, where it is important to maintain a dense, rich green sward throughout the season. Thanks to Osmocote technology, nutrients are released gradually for up to 6 months, which makes it possible to limit fertilising to one application per year.

Properties and benefits

The fertiliser granules are coated with a polymer layer that controls the release rate of nutrients. As soil temperature and moisture increase, the amount of nutrients entering the soil also increases, matching the natural growth rate of grass. As a result, the lawn receives small daily doses of nutrients, maintaining even growth, an vivid colour and greater resistance to disease and pests.

Composition

Nitrogen (N) 23%, phosphorus (P) 5%, potassium (K) 10%, magnesium (Mg) 2%, sulphur (S) 9% and micronutrients.

Application and feeding period

Osmocote fertiliser is intended for fertilising ornamental and utility lawns. The product is applied from March to June, preferably after mowing, when the grass is regenerating intensively and starting active growth. One application provides gradual feeding of the lawn for approximately 6 months, which helps the turf remains in good condition for most of the season.

Dosage

The recommended dose is about 30 g per m² of lawn. The maximum amount should not exceed 50 g per m² of area. The large pack allows fertilising extensive lawn areas, so it is especially suitable for larger gardens.

Directions for use

Spread the granules evenly over the lawn surface. If no rainfall occurs within 48 hours after application, the lawn should be watered to allow the nutrients to start being released. The coating of the granules gradually breaks down, and the nutrients remain available to the plants throughout the entire period of action of the fertiliser.
