EXTRA long-lasting lawn fertiliser Osmocote - Substral - 5 kg is used in spring, when the lawn begins its vigorous growth and needs a stable supply of nutrients. This product is intended for feeding domestic lawns and green areas where we want to maintain a dense, rich green sward throughout the season. Properties and benefits

The fertiliser granules are coated with a polymer shell that releases nutrients gradually, at a rate depending on soil moisture and temperature. As a result, the lawn receives small daily doses of nutrients matched to the grass growth rate. In effect, the sward maintains even growth, a rich green colour and greater resistance to disease and damage.

Composition

Nitrogen (N) 23%, phosphorus (P) 5%, potassium (K) 10%, magnesium (Mg) 2%, sulphur (S) 9% and micronutrients.

Application and feeding period

Osmocote fertiliser is intended for feeding domestic lawns and other turf-covered surfaces. The product is best used from March to June, when the grass begins vigorous growth. A single application provides nourishment for the lawn for about 6 months, which helps the sward remains in good condition throughout the season.

Dosage

The basic dose is about 30 g of fertiliser per m² of lawn. The maximum dose should not exceed 50 g per m². A 5 kg pack is enough to fertilise an area of about 160 m² of lawn.

Directions for use

Spread the granules evenly over the lawn surface, preferably after mowing. If no rainfall occurs within 48 hours after application, the lawn should be watered to allow the nutrients to begin releasing from the granules.
